Discover the ancient paths that connected the capital of the Inca Empire with the Antisuyo, the Amazonian region of the Tahuantinsuyo. On this approximately 4-hour hike, you will traverse trails used centuries ago by the Incas for ceremonial, religious, and communication purposes.
Accompanied by a professional guide, you will explore impressive archaeological sites such as the Inca Trail, Cusilluchayoc, Amaru Marka Wasi (Temple of the Moon), Qenqo Chico, the Sucancas, and ancient ushnus, while learning about the history, Andean worldview, and the spiritual significance of these places.
The tour begins in the historic center of Cusco and follows ancient paths surrounded by nature, where you will discover remnants from the pre-Inca, Inca, and colonial periods. You will walk the same paths once traveled by the ancient inhabitants of the Tahuantinsuyo and enjoy spectacular views of the city and the Andes.
The experience concludes at the Plaza de Armas of Cusco, leaving you with a deeper connection to the history, culture, and landscapes of the ancient capital of the Inca Empire.
