Rahul ji is an excellent guide—kind, patient, and incredibly thorough. He walked us through the entire Blue City tour, taking time to explain even the smallest details. Since our kids weren’t very comfortable with Hindi, he made a genuine effort to explain everything in English as well. What was initially planned as a 2-hour tour turned into a memorable 6.5-hour experience. Perhaps because it was the off-season, he went above and beyond—taking us not only to historical and cultural landmarks but also to various local eateries to experience authentic Rajasthani cuisine. He shared fascinating insights into the city’s architecture, including how the narrow lanes help keep the area cool, and showed us different parts of the Blue City. The kids especially enjoyed drawing water from a traditional well and tasting its refreshing coolness. Along the way, we also did a fair bit of shopping—clothes, tin décor, leather goods, and other handicrafts—without ever feeling pressured. He introduced us to a wide range of local delicacies, including malai roti, dry fruit lassi, kesar tea, malai ghewar, mirchi bonda, rabdi, shahi samosa, and jalebi from the famous Motu Jalebi Wala. He even helped us shop for authentic Rajasthani spices, all while remaining patient and accommodating. At the end of the day, he ensured we got an auto back to our hotel safely. Overall, I would highly recommend Rahul ji as a friendly and knowledgeable guide for exploring Jodhpur’s old city.

Rahul was very interesting mixing history and present day information. Took us through the alleyways so we could see all the amazing wall art and interesting buildings. The sweet tasting and chai were fantastic and we finished with a trip to a fantastic spice shop and vintage shop. He was so helpful to us and to other people not on the tour ,with restaurant and shopping recommendations . A great experience

Gajender was friendly and enthusiastic and showed us the notable areas of the main city. He also took us to places to buy tasty snacks and had many recommendations for shopping, eating, and touring.
