This was one of the best experiences I have had while travelling. It was lovely to see how much the hosts genuinely cared about sharing their culture and cuisine. The food we prepared was fresh, healthy and most importantly, delicious! I cannot thank these hosts enough for the experience, a definite must do in Delhi.

Dolly did an absolutely wonderful job! The whole tour was so Lovely, well Organized, and full of experiences. She was incredibly knowledgeable, Friendly, and Honest, you won't feel that she is your guide you will feel like you are exploring the places with your bestie! I especially loved visiting the Jain temple, and of course, the Photography Spots were one of my absolute favourite parts of the tour! Dolly has a great understanding of what Western travellers are looking for and knows exactly how to create an experience that feels authentic while still being comfortable and enjoyable. We discussed Hindu gods and festivals, practiced yoga and meditation, and experienced all of this in Roopak’s lovely, cozy apartment. After traveling across India for some time, Delhi was my final destination. It was well worth experiencing, as it offered a comprehensive understanding of Indian people, history, and culture. Aman and his brother Arpit are incredibly knowledgeable about Old Delhi. Aman answered my queries before the tour and clearly communicated logistics like meeting time, place before the tour. Dolly von Tavrej Tours ist super nett! Sie spricht ein außergewöhnlich gut verständliches Englisch und kann sich sehr gut in die Teilnehmer einfühlen. Die Kommunikation zum Treffpunkt lief über WhatsApp reibungslos. Wir haben uns sofort super verstanden. Der Spaziergang durch den ruhigen Bezirk mit der Street Art war sehr aufschlussreich und entspannt. Wir haben viele Informationen zu den Kundtwerken und auch den Künstlerinnen und Künstlern von Dolly bekommen. Sie ist super auf unsere Bedürfnisse eingegangen, hat z.B zum Lodhi Garden ein Tuk Tuk gerufen, weil wir schon etwas müde waren. Im Lodhi Garden haben wir uns entspannt hingesetzt, Informationen bekommen und vor allen Dingen uns sehr gut unterhalten. Auch über die Familie, die Lebensbedingungen und die Problematik bei der Gleichstellung von Frauen. Wir hatten einen tollen Nachmittag! Übrigens - Dolly macht super schöne Fotos! DANKE!!

Ritesh ist sehr nett uns spricht super Englisch. Er hat hervorragende Geschichtskenntnise. Ritesh baut seine Kenntnisse in schöne Geschichten ein und ist sehr unterhaltsam. As someone who travels often, I’m always looking for unique and authentic experiences, and this cooking class with JD was truly special. From the moment we arrived, JD, his father, and mother made us feel welcomed, comfortable, and completely at home. JD is such a kind, gracious, and warm host. His knowledge and passion for cooking took center stage,l; however, I personally loved hearing family stories and culture traditions such as stealing the grooms shoes at weddings. This experience gave us a beautiful and genuine glimpse into Indian culture, family life, and the warmth of Indian hospitality. The time passed far too quickly, and we left feeling grateful for such a memorable experience. This was so much more than a cooking class, it was a wonderful opportunity to connect, learn, share, and feel truly welcomed. We’ll remember it fondly for a long time to come.

We had a great experience exploring Delhi with a very knowledgeable and supportive guide who gave us a fascinating insight into India’s religious and cultural diversity, including Jainism and Sikhism. We visited a Sikh temple, saw how their community kitchen works, and tried some amazing local street food and delicious lassi. The guide also shared lots of useful recommendations, making it a great way to get to know Delhi — highly recommended!

The tour was truly eye-opening, giving us a genuine look into the challenging conditions people live in and how they build their lives within them, with our guide, who grew up there herself, showing us the area from a very personal perspective. Everyone we met was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the whole experience had a warm, positive vibe — people were curious about us too and seemed completely comfortable with us being there.

Yusuf is very knowledgeable of the history of Delhi and helps get a glimpse of the life and history of the city as well as taking you to see places off the tourist radar.Being the tour on a Sunday, unfortunately many shops were closed.
