Alles goed?  You've just learned your first phrase in Dutch! Here we speak Dutch, but with many French influences. We had our French time, our Dutch time, and our Spanish time. Our city went through a lot, but it kept reinventing itself! I would love to guide you through time in this gem of a city.

We have the most protected monuments in the country (+400!), but also the most students, so we have many stories and I would love to share them with you!  Stories about beer, stories about chocolate. And stories about a painting that was stolen more times than my wallet!
We will cover St-Michaelsbridge, Korenlei, Prinsenhof, Patershol, Vrijdagsmarkt, the Graffiti street, the town hall, the three towers, and some hidden corners!
I will explain the history of this magical place, with quite a connection to the here and now. This is a city with an ancient facade but with a young heart. When I was a student, I went to the legendary Ghent festival and never found my way home... I fell in love with Ghent and by the end of the tour, you'll understand why!
