Free Tour "The Zaragoza Morning"

Would you like to discover the essentials of Zaragoza and have 2 and a half hours available?

Then I invite you to take a journey back in time 2,000 years where we will explore the most important places and monuments of the city, from its founding as the Roman colony of "Caesaraugusta", through the Muslim "Saraqusta" to the medieval "Çaragoça" after the Christian reconquest.

We will start the tour at the statue of Caesar Augustus and together we will walk through the historic center of the city.

And to whet your appetite, here are some of the things you will discover:

• A market where the traditional stalls of fish, meat, and fruits merge with those of tapas and cocktails.

• Picturesque squares where churches, museums, Renaissance palaces, and lively terraces share space at the same time.

• The most famous tapas area and our gastronomy, festivals, traditions, and customs.

We will end the tour at Zaragoza's most emblematic monument: the Cathedral-Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar. We will talk about the origin of its construction and the history, devotion, and miracles attributed to the Virgin of the Pillar.
