The idea to create White Umbrella Tours was born in September 2012 and eight months later, on May 3, 2013, it started offering tours in Prague. Then came Paris, Budapest, Munich, Amsterdam, Madrid, Lisbon and Seville. First the tours started in Spanish and then came the tours in Italian and English. White Umbrella Tours Seville understands that its greatest treasure is its workers, collaborators and, of course, its clients. For this reason, the relationship between White Umbrella Tours and all the people around them is special. This business concept makes White Umbrella Tours and White Umbrella Tours Seville an attractive place for professional and motivated guides. The entire White Umbrella Tours philosophy materializes when the traveler perceives that they are in the best hands and making their experience something peculiar. , special and unforgettable. Tour description

The best option to deepen your journey

If you already know the most iconic places in Seville or want to delve deeper into its history, this tour through the historic Santa Cruz neighborhood is the perfect complement

In just two hours, you will immerse yourself in one of the two most emblematic neighborhoods of the city, the heart of Seville, and why not say it, also labyrinthine, so without a guide, it will be easy to get lost. Take advantage of this living experience: Santa Cruz told as only a local can do it.

🏛 The tour

We start at Plaza Virgen de los Reyes, in front of the majestic Catedral and its famous tower, the Giralda. From there, we will delve into the network of streets of the neighborhood until we reach the historic Patio de Banderas, one of the traditional entrances to the Royal Alcazar of Seville and the gateway to the old Jewish quarter.

During the tour, we will explore some of the most representative corners of the neighborhood, such as the Plaza de la Judería, the narrow streets so full of history, Vida y Agua, or the charming Plaza de Doña Elvira, one of the most photographed spaces in the city. We will also pass by iconic places such as the Balcón de Rosina in Plaza Alfaro next to the Murillo Gardens, or the historic church of Santa María la Blanca, a former synagogue transformed into a Christian temple.

Throughout the walk, we will talk about how this neighborhood emerged, its evolution from the Middle Ages to today, the coexistence of different cultures, its historical figures, its architecture, and the events that forever marked the history of this place.

The tour ends on the lively Mateos Gago street, one of the most vibrant areas of the historic center, where our guides will share recommendations to continue enjoying the city.

It is an outdoor tour. You will discover the neighborhood. You will understand its history.

💬 Why take this tour?

  • Because the Santa Cruz neighborhood is one of the most difficult to navigate due to its labyrinthine shape.
  • You will discover the historical heart of Seville, with over 2000 years and where different cultures coexisted.
  • You will explore the most beautiful and less photographed corners.
  • You will learn about real stories, historical figures, and curiosities that explain why this neighborhood is today one of the symbols of the city.

If you have already taken our Essential Seville Free Tour (check the link at the end), this tour is the ideal complement to complete your visit. Between both tours, you will have a very complete view of Seville from the outside: its great monuments, its history, and one of its most emblematic neighborhoods.

Moreover, we are the only company with a physical presence in the heart of the historic center, at Hernando Colón 6, between the Town Hall and the Cathedral. Daily customer service from 10:00 to 19:00. If you need help, we are here.
