UCSD and adjacent landmarks tour
The tour will be one to one and half hours long. It shows a walkable area around San Diego and some significant history that many do not know about San Diego. We start at the corner of 9500 Gilman Dr, by the University Center sign, do a quick meet and greet as we walk up. Major sites cover are; 1) Computer Science and Engineering Building, 2) Fallen Star Art Installation from below 3) Geisel Library and adjacent landmarks 4) walk and talk to 4) Salk Institute, 5) glider port and lookout. I will explain historical impacts, history and significance of each site.
