I invite you to join me in this 3-hour (4pm to 7pm) walking tour to be held in the late afternoon into the cool evening around some popular sites inside George Town Heritage City.

Admire the colonial buildings of European and Chinese /Asian architectures.

Visit inside the oldest Chinese temple to view the different gods and their roles, learn how the worshippers pray and seek divination from the gods.

View from outside the 1st Muslim mosque, the earliest Hindu temple, the 1st Anglican church in South East Asia and the Chinese clanhouses.

Take a stroll on the financial street of George Town and it's colonial buildings there.

Admire the iconic clock tower which is unofficially known as the Leaning Clock Tower of George Town.

Understand and view why the island is named Pulau Pinang. Learn about our history, geography, economy, industry, etc about Penang.

Walk through the famed Fort and relax at the Esplanade promenade during sunset.

St. George's Anglican ChurchThis elegant white building is the oldest Anglican church in Southeast Asia, built in 1818 during the British rule. It was commissioned by the East India Company and dedicated to Saint George, the patron saint of England. The architecture is Georgian Palladian style - very classical with tall Doric columns, triangular pediments and a graceful spire. It reflects the grandeur of colonial Britain but also adapts to the tropics with high ceilings and wide verandahs to keep the building cool.

Sri Mahamariamman Hindu TempleThis colorful temple is the oldest Hindu temple in Penang, built in the 1830s. It is dedicated to the goddess Mariamman, who is believed to protect against illness and bring prosperity. Admire the tall ornate tower called the Gopuram. It is covered with dozens of brightly painted statues of Hindu deities, each one telling a story from ancient Indian epics. It isn't just a place of worship - it's also a window into the rich traditions of Penang's Indian Hindu community of nearly 200 years.

Outside visit

EsplanadeRelaxed at the Esplanade promenade, this seaside walkway has been here since the late 18th century. Locals and tourists would stroll here in the evenings to enjoy the sea breeze after the day's heat.
