Tour description

Hi, I’m Lisa – your friendly local guide in Kuala Lumpur!

Born and raised in this vibrant city, I grew up surrounded by a mix of cultures, stories, and of course, amazing food. I’ve worked as a tour guide for several years and love sharing the real side of KL — not just what you see in postcards, but the hidden corners, the warm people, and the tasty snacks you’ll never forget.

My tours are fun, personal, and full of flavor. You’ll walk with me through places like Kampung Bharu, where traditional wooden houses still stand proudly in the shadow of skyscrapers. You’ll meet real locals learn cultural customs, and enjoy the kind of experience you’d never get from a big tour bus.

If you’re looking for a mix of history, laughter, local life, and unforgettable food — come walk with me!
We’ll start at KLCC with stunning skyline views, then walk through the colorful Saloma Link and into Kampung Bharu — one of the last remaining Malay enclaves in the city. Along the way, you’ll:

✅ Visit a traditional wooden house and meet villages!

✅ Sample delicious local snacks and experience Malaysia’s famous nasi lemak

✅ Hear fun, surprising stories about Malay culture, food, and daily life

✅ See where locals live, pray, eat and relax — away from the tourist spots

✅ Take amazing photos from hidden angles most visitors miss!

Whether it’s your first time in Malaysia or you want to dive deeper into local life, this walk is a perfect mix of heritage, humor, and hospitality.

Saloma Bridge
The Pintasan Saloma, also known as the Saloma Link, is a striking pedestrian bridge in Kuala Lumpur that seamlessly connects the traditional Malay enclave of Kampung Bharu with the modern Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC). Spanning 69 meters over the Klang River and the Ampang–Kuala Lumpur Elevated Highway (AKLEH), this bridge offers both a practical crossing and a symbolic link between the city’s rich heritage and its contemporary skyline.
3
Outside visit
Traditional Malay House
This traditional Malay house, or Rumah Melayu, is built on stilts for ventilation and flood protection. Made of wood without nails, it features carved panels, a steep roof for rain, and separate areas for living, guests, and cooking. It’s cool, breezy, and full of cultural charm.”
