This is a limited seasonal tour, not held daily and paused during the monsoon season and festive periods. When it runs, it runs with heart and extra effort !!

During this tour, you’ll walk with me through places like Kampung Bharu, where traditional wooden houses still stand proudly in the shadow of skyscrapers. You’ll meet real locals learn cultural customs, and enjoy the kind of experience you’d never get from a big tour bus.

If you’re looking for a mix of history, laughter, local life, and unforgettable food . come walk with me!

Traditional Malay House

This traditional Malay house, or Rumah Melayu, is built on stilts for ventilation and flood protection. Made of wood without nails, it features carved panels, a steep roof for rain, and separate areas for living, guests, and cooking. It’s cool, breezy, and full of cultural charm. If we are lucky , we will get into a traditional wooden house and meet villages! But some of day be vary so access might not be guaranteed.

Saloma Bridge

The Pintasan Saloma, also known as the Saloma Link, is a striking pedestrian bridge in Kuala Lumpur that seamlessly connects the traditional Malay enclave of Kampung Bharu with the modern Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC). Spanning 69 meters over the Klang River and the Ampang–Kuala Lumpur Elevated Highway (AKLEH), this bridge offers both a practical crossing and a symbolic link between the city’s rich heritage and its contemporary skyline.

Free tours don't have a fixed price. At the end, each person contributes to the guide the amount they consider fair based on their satisfaction. As a guideline, Guruwalk recommends between €15 and $50 per participant.
