Tour description

Key Attractions：

1. Wanchun Pavilion
Highest point (42.6m) on Beijing's central axis.
Panoramic views: Forbidden City (south), Beihai White Pagoda (west), Olympic Tower (north).

2. Chongzhen's Hanging Tree
Site where last Ming Emperor committed suicide in 1644.
Features a replica locust tree and historical plaques.

3. Shouhuang Palace
Qing Dynasty imperial ancestral shrine.
Exhibits: Royal portraits and ritual artifacts.

4. Five Buddha Pavilions
Symbolize Five Wisdom Buddhas (e.g., Wanchun for Vairocana).

5. Qiwang Lou
Qing-era study hall for Confucian rite

Entrance Ticket:
¥2（Peak Season ￥10 ）per adult ; Free for people aged 60+

Apr-Oct: 6:00-21:00 (last entry 20:30)
Nov-Mar: 6:30-20:00 (last entry 19:30)
Shouhuang Palace，Guande Hall，Huguo Zhongyi Temple：

Important Clarification:
Jingshan Park offers a hill climb with panoramic views of the Forbidden City, but it is not the Forbidden City itself. We’ve added this note as some guests initially confuse the two sites.
