Basilica of St. Martin of Tours
Taal Basilica, officially known as the Minor Basilica of Saint Martin of Tours, is the largest Catholic church in Asia, standing at 88.6 meters long and 48 meters wide. Located atop a hill in Taal, Batangas, it boasts Italian Baroque architecture, grand columns, and intricate interiors. Originally built in 1575, the church was relocated after the 1754 Taal Volcano eruption and later reconstructed in 1865. It remains a significant religious and historical landmark, attracting pilgrims and tourists alike.

Casa Villavicencio is a Spanish colonial-era ancestral home in Taal, Batangas, built in 1850, owned by Eulalio and Gliceria Marella Villavicencio, who played a vital role in the Philippine Revolution by supporting revolutionary movements. The house features intricate Art Nouveau interiors, hand-pressed tin ceiling panels, and Gothic-style wooden doors, reflecting the wealth and influence of the Villavicencio family. It remains a historical landmark, offering visitors a glimpse into the town’s rich heritage.
