Tour description

Welcome to the heart of Amsterdam walking tour!

You'll get a full picture of why Amsterdam is the way it is today as you walk through the oldest part of the city.

We'll explore the spaces where old monasteries used to be in the oldest canals between public buildings and houses from later centuries.

I will answer all your questions as we pass by some of the most iconic areas and at the same time you will be entertained by many of the anecdotes about centuries past.
This tour not only unveils the beauty of Amsterdam but also immerses you in the stories and culture that have shaped this vibrant city. Join us for a walk through history, where every corner has a tale to tell!

These are some of the topics/places we will see along the way:

  •     City foundation
  •     Redlight district
  •     Clandestine churches
  •     Jewish Quarter
  •     17th century/East India Company
  •     Construction of canals and city architecture

I am looking forward to see you!
