"Free Tour The Hague: History, Power, and Diplomacy"

I signed up for an English tour and was surprised to see I was the only English speaker. Luckily, I have a high comprehension rate of Spanish as long as no slang is used. I was worried about vocabulary for art, government, and history, but I was able to follow along. Jose was a very accommodating guide and offered to translate everything to English for me. I understood everything. I like to make notes under my photos, but I was much too rusty to switch between languages. Jose was very accommodating for the questions of a very knowledgeable group, and answered every single question. His knowledge was impressive. However, due to the constant questions, we ran over the advertised time. I consider that to be positive, but I did have to run off at the end for another tour I booked for the afternoon elsewhere.

José was a good guide. He had to do it spanish and english. Only the weather had been better.

This tour shows some of the highlights of The Hague. English language skills need serious improvement.

Easy to locate. Lots of interesting and historical information provided.

Very well coordinated and informative walking tour! We were earlier apprehensive about the dual language way of the tour, but the Guru was very comfortable with both languages and masterfully shifted between languages while not missing any crucial information! The dynamic shifting was very endearing to see, and it added to the wholesome picture he painted for the city!
