As a physician with a big heart for history and Regensburg, I would like to combine my passions for medicine, history, and Regensburg in this medical history city tour through Regensburg. I would be happy to share with you the most exciting and curious facts and anecdotes that Regensburg has to offer. How was medicine practiced in the past? What illnesses affected people in the past, and how were they treated? We will touch on all chapters of Regensburg's city history, starting with the Romans and ending with today's modern hospitals. My goal is to tell the most exciting and curious stories in an entertaining city walk and to structure it in a way that is interesting for everyone – explicitly not just for medical personnel as the target group, but for everyone! :)
