Singapore River Walk : Tour of History, Horses & High-Speed Thrills
Tour description
Psst… did you know Raffles appears in two versions — one bronze and one white? Ever wonder why the bridge you're walking on was once off-limits to cows and oxen? Or how a post office became one of the grandest hotels in Singapore?
Join me for a storytelling stroll along the Singapore River — the very cradle of our modern city, where history, heritage, and high-rise dreams collide.
We begin at the grand Fullerton Hotel, once home to the General Post Office. Don’t miss the original red post boxes — yes, you can still write and mail a postcard from here.
Just a short walk away is the charming Cavenagh Bridge, Singapore’s oldest suspension bridge. (Fun fact: it was shipped from Scotland like a Victorian-era IKEA project!)
Next, we zip into high gear at Anderson Bridge, now part of the F1 Marina Bay Street Circuit. We end our journey at the stunning Victoria Theatre and Concert Hall
