I am French lived in different places and countries, and am now staying in Murcia. I speak French obviously and English without problems. Spanish and German are languages that I understand and have notions of. I love discovering new places and sharing them with people; food, sports, traveling, and general culture and history are passions of mine.

Tour description

This free tour in French invites you to discover Murcia in a different way — a lively and accessible walk designed for the curious, history lovers, and passionate wanderers. From the majestic cathedral to the old streets, through bustling squares, forgotten facades, and remarkable figures, each stop is an opportunity to explore the city’s fascinating past.

Lasting between 1 hour 40 minutes and 2 hours, the tour blends heritage, unusual anecdotes, architectural tales, and little stories that bring back to life the streets we often pass without noticing.

You'll learn why the Plaza Belluga has changed so much over time, who the cardinal was, what lies behind the name of Trapería street, and how bridges, convents, and palaces reflect the evolution of Murcia.

A moment of sharing, culture, and discovery, in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Whether with family, friends, or on your own, you’re more than welcome!

Highlights

What will we see on this tour?

Meeting point:
Pl. del Cardenal Belluga, 30001 Murcia, Spain
You’ll find me along the wall of the Episcopal Palace, halfway between its main entrance and the small street that separates it from the tourist office. I’ll be easy to spot: my hair is doing its best to exist, while my beard has given up on being brown and now proudly lives in shades of grey. I’ll be carrying a black backpack.
