WHAT WILL WE DO, WHERE WILL WE GO AND
WHAT YOU WILL KNOW ABOUT SANTA ANA:

  • We will visit the beautiful Santa Ana Cathedral, which boasts a medieval neo-Gothic design dating back to 1923. You will learn details of its founding, why it is called Santa Ana, and interesting facts about how it is built.
  • You will learn about the exterior of the National Theater of Arts and Music of the West, which also boasts a beautiful neo-Gothic design unique in the West, details of its founding, what kind of events take place there, and when you can visit and learn about its activities firsthand.
  • We will visit the Chivo Wallet kiosks and I will provide you with information on how Bitcoin and cryptocurrency are changing the economic course and development of Santa Ana and all of El Salvador.

** We will take a walk through the western municipal mayor's office, which also has a very beautiful building with a Greco-Roman design from around 1923.
We will take a tour of the Santa Ana municipal market where you can see how local people earn a living, learn about local businesses, sample some typical food and artisanal drinks, and experience all kinds of activities that the locals carry out.
A picturesque tour of the artisan market where you can see typical Santa Ana crafts such as sandals, bags, purses, and hats made from seeds, wood, rubber, and bamboo, all handmade by the people of Santa Ana.

  • You will learn the story behind the myth of how Santa Ana and all of El Salvador went through a difficult period and today is a free and peaceful country.
  • I will share with you some typical Salvadoran dishes, such as:

*The Siguanaba and the Cipitiiyo.
What is our national flower and why do we eat it?
What is our national bird and why are so few people lucky enough to see it?
I'll tell you the name of our national currency and why it disappeared, and if it's still in circulation. Also, I'll explain what other types of currency circulate in El Salvador and if I can use them to pay in Salvadoran stores and supermarkets.
* I will give you information about tourist sites, restaurants, volcanoes, lakes and places you can visit after the tour so you can continue having fun in El Salvador and getting to know the Little Thumb of America in a more in-depth way.
