Beverly was amazing. Firstly she still ran the tour even though it was only me, she treated me so well on the tour and was so knowledgeable, honest and covered a wide range of topics. She was so giving with her time and the route was a great way to experience the real Guatemala City. The coffee place and street food stand we stopped at were worth the tour alone and the view at the end was unexpected. Would recommend to anyone who has even just a morning spare in Guatemala.

Luis was an awesome tour guide. Very enthusiastic and informative about the cultural and political history of Guatemala. In the future, I hope he pairs with vendors at the market so the tour group can try new fruits and foods.

Joining Beverly’s tour was the best thing in my Guatemala trip! So informative and the walk is surprisingly interesting and fun! Despite other walkers not showing up, Beverly is kind enough to give me a personal tour and there’s not a moment where I feel discomfort or boring! Beverly is very professional and gave me a lot of explanation of the city. Besides, the coffee stop along the way is a highlight of the trip! Highly recommended for anyone making a pit stop in Guatemala City.

Beverly was very down to earth and knowledgeable about the history of Guatemala and the city. I learnt a lot of information and the walking route chosen was not the typical tourist areas so we got to see and learn parts about the city I would have not known/found on my own. I also loved the stop at the street food vendor to try the famous Guatemala sandwich Shuco. That was a highlight

Probably the best tour I’ve ever been on! Beverly is a local and choosing to show tourists around in her spare time! You’ll get to see beautiful and safe places in Guatemala City, learn a lot about the culture and history of the city and country and get to try some delicious local ceviche and coffee. Would 100% recommend!

Beverly imparts information in an interesting manner and avoids getting into too much abstract detail. Her spoken English is excellent. She interacts with her audience and readily answers questions. The tour is a great way of learning a little about modern day Guatemala and what has shaped her.

Beverly is a wealth of knowledge and is clear and concise when sharing. Her tours are very interesting. She shares all facets of the complex Guatemalan history, marrying the political with the architectural with the cultural and with the ancient, etc. It’s a lovely tour and very much worth the time.
