Dave is an amazing guide, who will take you through the historic centre of San Salvador and tell you so many interesting things about the countries and cities past, present and the planned future. You can really feel, how much passion Dave has for sharing his love for this place, and because of that you have the opportunity to get an insight in the situation the Salvadoran people emerged from and how it shaped their present. It’s a great tour and I learned a lot from doing it!

We got a text at the last minute to move us to a different tour group/meeting place as not enough people had booked tours that morning. We were so glad we did, as we were moved to do the tour with Dave. He was so cheerful and enthusiastic, and so knowledgeable about the history of the country. Ich habe die Tour sehr genossen. Ich habe schon viele Freewalking tours gemacht und kann sagen, dass diese einer der Besten war. Dave wusste extrem viel über sein Land und hat auch selber viel erlebt, was er uns erzählt hat. Es war spannend im zuzuhören und auch alle Fragen konnte er beantworten. Von San Salvador selber war ich auch positiv überrascht und die Geschichte aufjedefall wissenswert. Ich kann die Tour mit Dave nur empfehlen!

Adrian was an excellent guide, conducted in English. He is quite educated and gave an amazing tour, indulging me with the current state and past history of the country by pointed out many events, locations, and cultural items of importance . We started in a beautiful, fascinating park and ended up in the center near national buildings, important churches, central markets, and some dining options (the Pulpusa place off the library was fantastic and inexpensive). Of modern interest - don't miss the state-of-the-art library and most beautiful Starbucks in the world along the way. This is a MUST DO - awesome in every way. Travel tip: Include a phone number on your reservation and check your email/phone the morning of and prior to the tour for important updates and communication.

Definitely one of my favourite walking tour ever. I've been to almost 100 countries and done so many walking tours and Dave was just incredible. So passionate , kind and knowledgeable. Time passed way too quickly.

Dave was amazing! He gave so much information about El Salvador where you felt like family by the end of the tour. He even took a huge step forward when I secretly asked him to tell my boyfriend Happy Birthday the day of the tour. He not only told him, had the group sing Happy Birthday but also bought him a cake as well! He went way above and beyond and I’m so grateful! I would recommend his tour 10000%!
