Free walking tours in San Salvador

Very informative tour that I'm glad we did at the start of our two week trip to El Salvador.

Carlos is the best!!! He is very professional and is honest when answering questions. He took us to the most important spots in the city and even brought us to a coffee shop to experience Salvadoran coffee and after the tour we even went out for dinner together. I will recommend other travelers to take his tour.

My girlfriend and I took the tour with Carlos, he was really friendly and educated on the history of El Salvador. We enjoyed the route that he took us around the plazas, cathedrals and the market

Super interesting, informative and fun tour!

We initially booked another tour with someone else because Dave’s tour was fully booked. We canceled that tour after 30 minutes because we didn’t enjoy it. The next day, we booked the tour with Dave, and he gave us a great explanation about his city! Thank you, Dave!

Dave was really friendly, really knowledgeable and has a big personality which made the tour very enjoyable.

We had an amazing tour with Gio and Carlos! They showed us around the historic centre of San Salvador and it was a lovely experience :) They told us a lot about the buildings there, the history of the country and gave us many tips for places to eat and go in the city, I can highly recommend this tour! Both the guides were very kind, helpful and could answer all our questions

Very professionel and interesting

Nice walking tour at a fairly slow pace, so no rushing. Isaac waited for us as we were running late, and he gave good recommendations for us to come back to after.

Isaac is a very talented natural tour guide! He knows his stuff well and talks in a very engaging way. He was great at socializing with the entire group and was able to answer any questions. We enjoyed our conversations with him. 200% would recommend when in San Salvador!!

Excellent tour! Dave was one of those great tour guides - balancing history with politics and sociology. Came with low expectations. Left with a big "wow" about El Salvador's story.

We really enjoyed the tour. Isaac is awesome, he did a really good job. We learned a lot and he explained in a very interactive way. Time passed by very quick.

Incredible walking tour with David! He was full of energy and very passionate about his city and his country. He took us on a great tour of the major sites in the city, taught us a lot about history, current affairs and politics, and the people. He also took us to some local places to eat quesadillas and pupusas. David was super friendly and answered all of our questions and got to know each of us too! Thanks again David!

Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Dave was very enthusiastic about the great changes the country has made and demonstrated it with the stops we made.

Unser Guide Gio hat uns etwa drei Stunden lang die Sehenswürdigkeiten und die Geschichte von San Salvador sowie des Landes nähergebracht. Besonders spannend war, dass er auch persönliche Einblicke und Erfahrungen mit uns geteilt hat. Auf alle Fragen hatte er sachkundige Antworten – man merkt sofort, dass er sich in seinem Themengebiet hervorragend auskennt. Insgesamt eine wirklich interessante und bereichernde Tour!

It was only two guests on my tour and Gio did a fantastic job in showing us round .!! He knows the city well and had most of the information inquired on the tour .!! We made. lunch stop at a local Pupusaria (which I thought was a bit pricey than other options in town) but then being in centro, that much différence is to be expected I guess..!!" It’s NOT a particular’y LONG tour but the heat will make you take frequent stops. NOT many spots in the shade along the route .!! Tuve la suerte de hacer el tour con el señor Erick en San Salvador y fue una experiencia excelente. Desde el primer momento, la dinámica fue como la de un paseo entre amigos. El señor Erick demostró un conocimiento profundo de la ciudad y de la historia de El Salvador. Me llevó por lugares importantes, explicó el contexto histórico con claridad, y siempre estuvo dispuesto a responder preguntas y adaptar el recorrido a mis intereses. Se nota que disfruta lo que hace y eso se refleja en la forma en que guía. Si buscas una manera auténtica y entretenida de conocer San Salvador, definitivamente recomiendo hacer el tour con el señor Erick. Fue una experiencia muy enriquecedora. Nos vemos señor Erick ajaja
