Prague Castle is unmissable. From its mysterious beginnings shrouded in mythology, through to the Golden Age of the city, and then to the present day, the world's largest castle complex has seen a lot, and there is a lot to tell, never mind the magnificent cathedral at sits at the centre and dominates the city skyline. From here, we descend to the Lesser Town, the very soul of the city, where ghost stories abound, and one gets a real sense of what the city has come to represent. And then we finish with Charles Bridge, probably the most iconic symbol of Prague - the history of which will contain one or two surprises. So come for the royal experience, but leave with a sense of the enchantment that lies upon this part of the city.

What will we see on this tour?

Meeting point:

Malostranska metro station (entrance)

We will be located by the Malostranská metro station (Green Line A) - in front of the tram station with the same name. You can recognise us by the white, blue, and red umbrella, or by the willow plait decorated with ribbons that resembles a whip (it's called a pomlazka in Czech). First thing: we will take the tram for four stops. Please arrive early to purchase a valid ticket. We will be available to advise if you do not have a ticket. Unfortunately, we cannot be held responsible for any issues related to the validity of your ticket. Please do arrive ten minutes early, as the tour starts at 14:00 sharp. Please dress according to the weather, wear comfortable shoes, bring a bottle of water, and ensure you have used the bathroom in advance, as public toilets are scarce on the tour (it's a three-hour walk, after all). It's a "Free Walking Tour", which means that we walk around the city in a relaxed setting without entering paid places. At the end of the tour, it will be you who, according to your degree of satisfaction, will decide what the value of my work is. On the tour, there are stairs, but mostly downhill, so you're aware.

We will visit the Complex of the Prague Castle, In this tour we do not enter the buildings. The entrance to the interior of the buildings requires the purchase of a ticket that is not included in this free tour.

St Vitus Cathedral

St. Vitus Cathedral, located within Prague Castle. It is the most important church in the Czech Republic and contains the tombs of Bohemian kings, archbishops, and saints.

Free tours don't have a fixed price. At the end, each person contributes to the guide the amount they consider fair based on their satisfaction. As a guideline, Guruwalk recommends between €15 and $50 per participant.
