Description

The tour will showcase how Bloomsbury was the centre of literary and intellectual life in London for much of the 19th and 20th century. 
The route starts in Brunswick square and finishes at the British Museum. It will take you through the major sights of Bloomsbury especially those connected with its literary history and the Bloomsbury group. This will include buildings connected to Virginia Woolf, E.M Forster,John Maynard Keynes, Karl Marx, Charles Dickens, George Orwell, Charles Darwin, Rabindranath Tagore, T.S Eliot,  and more. You will see Russell Square, Tavistock and Gordon Square, the main UCL Building, Fitzroy Square and the famous Fitzroy Tavern, Bedford Square, Senate House and the British Museum.
