Tour description
Native and Endemic Nature Tour of Central Chile
I invite you to discover one of the most beautiful corners of the central region and its coast. We'll hike through a ravine that will lead us to one of the best viewpoints overlooking the Pacific Ocean. We'll visit two Nature Sanctuaries, La Peña Blanca and Islote Pájaro Niño, home to Humboldt penguins.
We'll also go down to the coast to fully enjoy all the scenery. Along the way, we'll learn about the native and endemic flora and fauna of the area, as well as explore different types of wetlands and their inhabitants.
It will be a walk of complete connection with the present and nature, ideal for taking photographs and creating unforgettable memories. You'll discover the "other side" of coming to the beach.
The route is 3 kilometers long, of easy to moderate difficulty, and suitable for children. It takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. Comfortable clothing is recommended, preferably hiking boots, a hat, and sunscreen. Bring at least one liter of water per person and a tasty, healthy snack.
If it's a sunny day, bring your swimsuit too to enjoy the paradisiacal El Canelo beach, where we'll stop to share and contemplate this beautiful place.
The tour includes the use of binoculars, supporting graphic material, and a first aid kit in case of need.
