Samarkand is one of the world's oldest cities. Rich in history, architecture, and markets, it's the place where caravans once stopped to trade.
During your visit to Samarkand you will discover its most iconic places:
- the majestic Mausoleum of Tamerlane (Gur-e Amir),
- the legendary Registan Square, the heart of the city,
- the grandiose Bibi-Khanim Mosque, a symbol of power and faith,
- the lively Siyob Bazaar, rich in oriental colours and scents,
- the impressive Hazrat Khizr Mosque with its panoramic view,
- and the enchanting necropolis of Shah-i-Zinda, a true jewel of mosaics.
