Tour description

1:30pm: Meet up at Cagina Boutique Hostel Hostel & Coffee for a drink and the brief (124A Le Thanh Dong Street, Dong Hoi, Quang Binh). Pick up your bicycles. Enjoy a detailed briefing about the route and study the map to get better acquainted with the journey that lies ahead.

1:45pm: Prepare yourselves and get ready to embark on an exciting adventure as you receive your bikes. It's time to hit the road and explore the various enchanting destinations on our itinerary. From the Tam Toa church ruins to experiencing the vibrant local life Dong Hoi market, you will be captivated by the beauty and charm of this region.

3:15pm: We'll take a break from our exploration to indulge in a delicious meal at a local restaurant. Be assured that this eatery boasts an authentic culinary experience, away from the tourist crowds. You will have a try of Vietnamese pancake, tapioca clear dumpling, steamed rice cake with shrimps, and how about taking a food challenge: Balut?

4:15pm: Cross the Nhat Le Brigde and explore the Bao Ninh Peninsula where so much fun is waiting for us. We will stop at a small shack along the river and learn how to lift up the square dipping net. If you are lucky enough to catch some fish (or whatever), you will have chance to grill what you’ve caught and have some beers with the local host.

6:00pm: As the evening approaches, we will head to a local store for sweet soup or gruel as dessert. This delightful and refreshing treat will be the perfect ending to our journey.

How much does this tour cost?

Free tours don't have a fixed price. At the end, each person contributes to the guide the amount they consider fair based on their satisfaction. As a guideline, Guruwalk recommends between €15 and $50 per participant.
