San Lorenzo: a mindful walk off the beaten path

This tour is an invitation to explore the San Lorenzo neighborhood from within, walking calmly with a local, conscious, and respectful perspective. A journey through one of the oldest and most decisive areas in the history of Seville, where daily life and memory remain very present.

Throughout the walk, we will weave together real stories and legends that help to understand the city: medieval Seville after the Reconquista, the importance of the great monasteries, the artisanal tradition of the neighborhood, and the urban and social transformation of the Alameda de Hércules, one of the oldest public spaces in Europe.

We will visit places such as the surroundings of the Chapel of Carmen, the Royal Monastery of San Clemente, old trade streets, stately palaces, and the complex of the Convent of Santa Clara with the Tower of Don Fadrique, one of the first civil constructions after the Christian conquest of the city.
