Puebla and its heritage, historical-cultural tour in the historic center of Puebla

Join me on a free journey through time along the streets of the "City of Angels." On this walk, you will not only see monuments but also discover the everyday life of one of Mexico's most vibrant cities since its strategic founding in 1531.

What will you experience on my tour?

  • Chronicles and Legends: We will walk through the Renaissance layout of the Historic Center, reliving the events that shaped the national identity and getting to know the characters — from visionary bishops to heroic generals — who left their mark on the talavera and brick facades.
  • Local Immersion: Step away from tourist traps. I will take you to the corners, markets, and little spots where the people of Puebla enjoy their daily lives. You will learn about the heritage of our cuisine, considered a World Heritage, understanding why mole and traditional sweets are much more than food: they are pure history.
  • Living Heritage: Learn about our intangible heritage, from the secrets of Talavera ceramics to the religious and popular traditions that keep the essence of Puebla alive.

This tour is an invitation to look beyond the obvious and feel the pride of a city that is a museum, home, and feast all at once. Come walk through history with me!

The tour lasts 3 hours
Available in English, Spanish and French

I am truly in love with my city. This passion led me to explore Puebla through the eyes of an anthropologist and sociologist, culminating in my PhD research on the vibrant street food of the Historic Center. Beyond the library, I bring a sensory perspective as a certified Sommelier with extensive restaurant experience. I also have the privilege of working in media, where I share and celebrate the rich intangible heritage of Puebla.
