Hi! I'm Ale, a history buff and I've been in love with Vilnius for a year now, ever since I moved here. I decided to start offering free tours because I've always been fascinated by how a city comes alive when someone shares its stories. Vilnius isn't just a Baltic capital; it's a place where cultures, religions, and empires have coexisted, and every street has a tale to tell. What I love most about my city is the contrast between the monumental and the intimate: you can go from a grand historical square to a bohemian corner brimming with art in just a few minutes. Vilnius also has a special energy, calm yet profound, that surprises almost every traveler. On my tours, you'll find not only dates and facts, but also context, interesting tidbits, anecdotes, and that human touch that makes history meaningful. I like the tour to be dynamic, interactive, and personal, so it's not just a stroll, but an experience. If you want to understand Vilnius beyond the surface and discover its secrets in an engaging and clear way, I'd be delighted to guide you.

Tour description

Are you in Vilnius and want to truly get to know the city? Join this free walking tour in Spanish and discover its history, its curiosities, and its local side. This tour is designed for both newly arrived travelers and Erasmus students or people who have been living here for a while and want to better understand the place they're in.

During the tour, we'll walk through Vilnius's Old Town, one of the largest and best-preserved in Europe, while discussing its medieval past, its Soviet era, its traditions, legends, and curious anecdotes that don't usually appear in tourist guides. We'll also learn about life in Lithuania today and what makes this city so special.

The tour is on foot, in Spanish, and works with the free tour system, so it doesn't have a fixed price: at the end of the tour you decide how much to contribute based on your experience and how much you liked the tour.
