Xochimilco, a must-see destination on your list
I will take you to the Virgilio Uribe Olympic Rowing and Canoeing Course, located in the Cuemanco area. You will learn to use a kayak and a rowing boat with a qualified instructor. The cost per session is $200, which goes to the instructor. The activity lasts one hour.
After your class, we'll explore Xochimilco Ecological Park (entrance is free). You can rent bicycles for approximately $50 per hour. The park also boasts incredible native wildlife, a museum, and pelican sightings. The museum is included, and the park has a restaurant overlooking the lake that we can visit, serving Mexican food.
We'll then head to the Cuemanco pier, where there's also a market where you can buy souvenirs, beer, and local food. You can also take a ride on a trajinera (a traditional flat-bottomed boat) for 700 pesos per hour. (If you'd like to take a trajinera, please confirm with me one day in advance so I can book one.)
