* Merdeka Square – the square that began under Colonial administration and became the site of independence and the birth of modern Malaysia where the national flag was raised for the first time in 1957.
* Sultan Abdul Samad Building – one of the country's most iconic colonial-era landmarks which has been newly restored.
* Royal Selangor Club - a prestigious club for the social and sporting traditions of the British.
* St Mary's Cathedral – a hidden Gothic-style church dating back to the late 19th century.
* River of Life – Kuala Lumpur's river revitalization urban transformation project
* Central Market – a former wet market transformed into a vibrant cultural and arts center.
* Petaling Street (Chinatown) – a lively district rich with stories of migration, commerce and community
