Maria Antonia Josepha Joanna of Habsburg-Lorraine: such an important and overlooked figure in history.
Our walk begins with a recollection of her last days in Paris and her death. Afterward, through a historical flashback, we will discuss her life in the capital, her passions and mistakes, her influence on eighteenth-century fashion, the gossip of the time, her relationship with her husband Louis XVI and the court of Versailles, etc.
Starting from her figure as one of the many victims of the French Revolution, but without claiming to sanctify her, we invite you to come and get to know her with us through the various places, monuments, and buildings in Paris that still help us better understand this eighteenth-century It Girl.
