Center City Gems with Diamond!

I really enjoyed my free solo GuruWalk tour with Diamond. The pickup location was easy to find.... just look for the purple bag! She made sure we moved safely through the city. I especially enjoyed the history of the stone carvings of cats at City Hall. They are a tribute to the cat loving president of the Public Buildings Commission. There is netting there, however there are not real cats running around the walls of the building 🤣 Along the way, she shared really interesting history about Philadelphia. I liked learning about Love Park and the famous LOVE sculpture, and also hearing about John Wanamaker and how the modern price tag and refund policy started. Diamond was very knowledgeable at every stop, very friendly, and answered all of my questions. She made the tour easy to follow and enjoyable from start to finish. Overall, it was a great experience and a fun way to explore Philadelphia. I’d definitely recommend this free walking tour specifically with Diamond.

Diamond was a great tour guide! She was in time and gave clear expectations for the time we would spend on the walking tour. Had great insight, but also gave time in between stops for us to be able to take in the views and enjoy the walk. She was a very calming presence in a very busy city. I’d recommend her tour for anyone visiting!

I had the pleasure of stumbling upon the Philadelphia Gems tour with Diamond this weekend and it was absolutely amazing! Diamond was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also so engaging and fun—she made the city come alive. As a Philly native, I wanted to take on a new view of the city and Diamond helped me do just that. I loved how she pointed out the details of architecture and how he kept me entertained. I learned so much and she recommended great restaurants and other tours to take. I will definitely be recommending her!

Throughly enjoyed! The guru was very charismatic and very knowledgeable in Center city history. It was easy to follow along, ask questions and take pictures as desired. I can say that I truly learned a lot and that it was nice to walk the city and learn of places to eat and and to visit after the tour in the area. I would definitely recommend this tour to others.
