Shibuya: From Urban Chaos to Sacred Forest – Free Tour
This free tour in Spanish takes you through the most authentic Shibuya, combining history, culture, and unique contrasts that no tourist guide mentions.
We start at the statue of Hachiko, a symbol of loyalty that moved all of Japan and continues to bring together millions of people every day.
From there, we cross the Scramble Crossing, where up to 3,000 people cross at the same time without colliding.
We enter Nonbei Yokocho, the Drunkard's Alley, a corner from the Showa era with more than 40 small bars that survived the real estate boom of the 80s.
We continue through Shibuya Yokocho, a 100-meter passage with 19 food stalls representing different regions of Japan.
We go up to the rooftop of Miyashita Park to enjoy a panoramic view of Shibuya, where a park, fashion stores, and a climbing wall coexist in a single building.
Then we will descend through Cat Street and end at the Meiji Shrine, a forest of 100,000 trees planted just 100 years ago in the heart of Tokyo. An ending that contrasts with everything before: from urban chaos to sacred silence.

Hi there! I’m Hugo. I’m 23 years old and have lived my entire life right here in Japan. While I’m a native Spanish speaker and fluent in English (thanks to my high school years in Canada), my mindset, heart, and soul are 100% Japanese.
Growing up in the Japanese school system and building my life here has given me a deep, firsthand understanding of our culture and social nuances. I believe I can offer you a unique value that few others can: explaining the "true Japan" from a local’s perspective, in perfect English.
I specialize in small group tours because I value real connection. My goal isn’t just to show you sights, but to engage in meaningful conversations so you can truly understand the Japanese way of life. Let’s explore Japan together like locals!
