Explore the historic heart of Prague on this free tour through the Old Town and the Jewish Quarter, a comprehensive 2.5-hour experience that will allow you to understand the cultural, historical, and religious essence of the Czech capital; in addition to providing you with key tips and recommendations from veteran guides to make your trip perfect.
We start at the Zara on Na Příkopě, one of the most central axes of the city. From there, we delve into the Old Town to walk its medieval streets and uncover its secrets. We will arrive at the Old Town Square, where we will admire the famous Astronomical Clock and unravel its symbolism.
We will continue to the old Jewish Quarter (Josefov), one of the best-preserved Jewish historical complexes in Europe. You will learn about the history of its synagogues, the Old Jewish Cemetery, and the events that marked the life of this community over the centuries.
