Myths and Legends of Dublin
Lovers of the unknown, come if you dare! We will meet by The Spire monument at 6:00 PM to begin this tour of the most mysterious and, why not, darkest Dublin.
We will delve into Celtic origins, discovering some of the most famous characters of this culture.
Join us at the cemetery of St. Mary's Anglican Church, and we will tell you about the resurrectionists who frequented cemeteries in the 19th century. We will walk through the Smithfield neighborhood to St. Michan's Church to discover what its crypts hold ⚰️
On the other side of the River Liffey, The Brazen Head awaits us, Dublin's oldest pub, where the spirit of Robert Emmet has occasionally been sighted 👻
Afterwards, we will walk to the remains of the medieval wall, located in an area known as Hell by Dubliners during the Georgian era. What cruel methods of torture were employed in this place? We will reveal them to you.
Of course, we will also talk about witchcraft, so we will end the tour very close to the old brothel run by one of the many women accused of witchcraft in Ireland.
