Corn, coffee, and aguardiente run through the veins of El Salvador. On this tour, you'll enjoy local Salvadoran cuisine. You'll have the opportunity to prepare the national dish (Pupusa making class). Specialty coffee tasting. You'll explore the vibrant Central Market. We'll walk through with mysticism, aromas, and legends.

What are we going to visit?

- Pupuserías (Pupusa making)

- Specialty coffee shops

- Visit to the Central Market

- Visit a local bar where you can see the national liquors

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED :

 -The cost of making pupusas depends on how many you want to make: $1.25 per pupusa.

 - Coffee tasting and sampling: the cost is divided among the tour participants; cost per extraction method: $5, which yields 2 cups of coffee.

 - Snacks and seasonal fruits at the market

 - Typical dishes and sweets

 - Personal expenses.

PLEASE NOTE: 

- Don't eat too much before the tour.

- Wear comfortable shoes for a 2.45 to 3-hour walk. 

- Bring 1 liter of water, or you can buy it at nearby stores. 

- Don't forget sunscreen and preferably bring a hat or cap. 

- Be ready to meet other travelers and discover what El Salvador taste like. 
- This tour can be adapted for vegans 
- This tour can be adapted for guests with celiac disease upon advance request. However, some activities take place in shared kitchens and local market environments, so we cannot guarantee a completely gluten-free environment. Please inform us about your dietary requirements before booking.

The costs of the activities are the responsibility of the participant; we recommend bringing a minimum of $10 for the activities.

Our tours are conducted by professional tour guides, booking and joining the group is completely free. However, since these tours are the full-time job of our guides to make a living, we recommend rewarding them with a minimum of €15 or $20 per person.
