Guide: MA
Guiding since 2026Hello! My name is Keting, and I am currently a graduate student living in Kumamoto, Japan.
I have been living in Kumamoto for more than three years, and during this time I have fallen in love with the city, its culture, and its people. Thanks to my local Japanese friends and my daily life here, I have discovered not only the famous attractions but also many hidden gems that most tourists would never find on their own.
One of my biggest passions is local food. Kumamoto is famous for its ramen, but some of the best restaurants are often hidden in small streets and quiet neighborhoods. I would love to help you discover authentic local flavors, from delicious ramen shops to cozy restaurants loved by local residents.
I speak English, Japanese, and Chinese, and I enjoy meeting people from all over the world. Whether you are interested in Japanese history, local food, everyday life, student life in Japan, or simply exploring the city like a local, I would be happy to share my experiences and show you around.
My goal is not only to guide you through Kumamoto but also to help you experience the city from a local perspective and create unforgettable memories during your stay in Japan.
I look forward to meeting you and exploring Kumamoto together!
