Beneath the volcanoes, Antigua Guatemala was once the capital of Spanish colonial Central America. On this guided walk, you´ll explore its history,arquitecture, and daily life through the lens of its speciality coffee culture.

Coffee is the thread that conects the stops,and the city is the main story.

What to expect:

This is a cultural walk with coffee tastings, not a technical coffee course. You´ll try different coffee brewed in different ways and learn a few simple tasting tips, but the main focus is on Antigua: its history,its streets, and how coffee became part of its identity. If you would like to deep dive into some especific topic about this fascinating worl, we can happilly point you to some great resources!

What you would expirience:

Short stories about Antigua´s history, architecture, and the role coffee has played in its identity
three hand-picked cafés, from a clasic colonial setting to a lively grand finale
tastings that explore different ways of brewing or making coffee, so you can compare how it changes from cup to cup
A few easy tasting tips, so you can enjoy each cup with more curiosity
a relaxed peace, with time to ask questions, take photos, and chat with the baristas

Duration: 2 to 3 hours, adapted to the peace of the group
Not a coffee drinker? No worries! Just let us know and we´ll suggest something that suits you or adapt to your dietary needs.
