The Secret Side of Prague: From Stalin Plaza to Urban Art & Beer
The tour lasts 2 hours and 15 minutes
Available in English
Description
Forget the crowded tourist routes and discover the Prague that most visitors never see.
Join me for an evening journey through hidden corners of Prague, where history, creativity and Czech beer culture come together. We will explore forgotten streets, parks, urban art, unique architecture and places where locals actually spend their time.
We will start away from the typical tourist crowds and uncover a different side of the city - from hidden passages and creative neighborhoods to unexpected art spots and viewpoints with breathtaking views of Prague.
Along the way, you will learn about Czech culture, why beer is such an important part of our everyday life, and how Prague’s artistic spirit has shaped the city.
The evening will end in an authentic Czech pub, where we will enjoy a local beer and experience the atmosphere that makes Czech pubs more than just places to drink - they are places where people meet, talk and share stories.
What you can expect:
A genuine Czech beer experience in a local pub
Street art, urban culture and hidden creative places
Beautiful viewpoints away from the biggest crowds
Secret corners, stories and unusual Prague locations
Local tips on food, drinks and places worth visiting during your stay
In this tour we will use once the tram to get us to one place. You can pay for a ride at the tram.
This is not a traditional history tour. It is an evening with a local who wants to show you the Prague he loves - beyond postcards and guidebooks. I will give you some brief history for the context.
Guide: Petr
Guiding since 2023Hey everyone!
Let me introduce myself. My name is Peter or Petr, as we say in Czech. Yeah… confusing. Even for me when I travel and have to explain it to border control.
I was born and raised in the Czech Republic, not exactly in Prague, but close enough that I’ve been coming here a lot since I was a kid. For almost three years now, Prague has been my home, and I can honestly say I love living here.
When I’m not working, I love meeting new people, especially travellers from all around the world. That’s one of the reasons I decided to become a local guide - I want to show you Prague beyond the usual tourist spots and share some of the places, stories and hidden corners that you might not discover on your own.
I’m also a big traveller myself. So far, I’ve visited around 60 countries — and I’m still counting! In 2026 alone, I’ve already added 10 new countries to the list, with a few more adventures planned for autumn.
I know I’m still young, but I think I’m doing pretty well so far, don’t you think? My personal goal is to visit every country in the world, and along the way, I love sharing the experiences, stories and perspectives I’ve picked up with other travellers.
So, thank you so much for booking my tour — if you do! I’m really looking forward to meeting you, showing you my Prague, and hopefully giving you a different perspective on this amazing city.
See you soon! 🇨🇿
