Description
Discover a quieter side of Lithuania and join me for a relaxed walk through a peaceful Lithuanian forest near Vilnius.
I’m Kasparas, a Lithuanian living in Vilnius and originally from Kaunas, Lithuania’s second-largest city. I’ll be joined by my two fluffy dogs — a Standard Poodle and a Lagotto Romagnolo — who love exploring the forest and make the walk even more enjoyable.
This is not a difficult hike or a formal history tour. It is an easy, relaxed walk that requires no special preparation or fitness level. Depending on your preference and our agreement, the walk can last from around 45 minutes to 1 hour and 15 minutes.
We can meet directly near the forest, or I can pick you up from Vilnius Old Town and we can go there together. With travel time included, the whole experience usually takes around 2 hours.
During the walk, we can enjoy the silence of the forest, listen to birds, discover local plants and, depending on the season, maybe even find some mushrooms or other forest treasures. There are also several beautiful places where we can stop for photos.
I’m happy to tell you about Lithuania, everyday life here, Vilnius, Kaunas, local culture, places worth visiting, what to do during your stay, or simply answer any questions you may have about living in Lithuania.
The experience itself is free. If you enjoy the walk, you are welcome to make a voluntary donation, which will be given to help local dog shelters.
