If you plan to take only one tour in Berlin, this is the one for you.
Do you have little time and want to see the must-see places? In three hours, we will cross the center of the capital, from the city's great icons to the most surprising traces of its history, passing through Prussia, Empire, National Socialism, Cold War, GDR, and reunification.
We will start from Alexanderplatz, with the Television Tower, and move towards the historic heart of the city: the Rotes Rathaus, the medieval Marienkirche, and the Museum Island. We will see the Berlin Cathedral and the royal palace before continuing along Unter den Linden to the Brandenburg Gate.
From here, we will enter the most dramatic part of the 20th century. We will stop at the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe and talk about Hitler's bunker, then see a piece of the original wall and Potsdamer Platz, where the border that separated West Berlin from East Berlin for decades was located, now almost impossible to recognize.
A self-managed lunch break of about an hour is planned. The total duration of the tour is therefore 5 hours.
