Kampala isn’t very touristic like European cities where they host big groups !! So to earn a living as city tour guide is very challenging !
Because of that we suggested to charge a decent amount of 15 USD per person starting from a group of two people and above ⬆️ and if there is only one person booked for then an amount suggested of 20 USD.
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
