I was at the meeting point for 20 minutes and didn’t see anyone with a group of people and the guide with a black cap. The guide messaged me but I had no internet on my phone so got it when I was back to the hotel. Apparently there are two hotels with the same name but I followed the one indicated in the meeting point so for others , just double check.

Eine rundum großartige Tour, die einen hervorragenden Ein- und Überblick verschafft! Irvin ist super sympathisch, hat einen sehr witzigen Humor und weiß vor allem viel Spannendes über Gjirokaster und die Geschichte der Stadt zu berichten. Wir haben viel gelernt :) Sehr zu empfehlen, vor allem auch als Einstieg in die Stadtgeschichte am Tag der Ankunft :)

Our tour guide Eugene was really nice, he told us a lot of interesting informations about the the village and he could answer our questions about albania and there culture. We could choose if we would like up to a view point or if our energy is to low - so he is flexible with the guests. By the end of the tour he gave us nice tipps where to eat and even where to go on our road trip. Thanks a lot!

Irvin provided a good amount of info and interspersed it with nice stories. As it's his hometown , he also has all practical info when asked. I like that he kept it open to visit the castle and then let us explore on our own. Only downside to that was the we didn't get to try osha on the walk but that's not a big deal cos I tried it myself after! He covered all the main areas of the old town on the route and it was very enjoyable. Would recommend as a good starting point to gjirokastra.

Irvin is such a tour guide. He explains everithing in a fun unique way. Being a local also adds a lot to the experience. First time here and will consider again using guru and hopefully with the same luck of havig a great guide like Irvin.
