Great guide, well prepared.

The tour with Maks was great. She's very knowledgeable, speaks excellent English and took us around different parts of Bukhara so that we also learned about both the local culture and history.

Alex was a helpful guide in showing the group around Bukhara. We covered lots of different sights and he was very informative on a wide range of knowledge. Be left lots of time for pictures and was helpful with all of our questions. It was a good way to understand the history of the city.

Great tour! Couple of people on the tour reached out to Makhbuba to see if we could start the tour later in the day and before she agreed to it, she reached out to all of us individually to ensure we all agreed on the new meeting time. And it worked out! A very lovely lady that provided great information !

This tour was a breath of fresh air! Makhbuba did a great job of combining historical information and giving me time to breath, take in the shopping scene and admire the beauty of the city. She was professional and friendly, and I recommend this tour to anyone who wants a lighter experience (although maybe she can overload you with information if you like that style -- I just prefer a lighter style). The places she took me to had excellent quality stuff, but were too expensive. (We stopped at some stores along the way).

Maks was absolutely amazing. She was so knowledgeable, kind. She has perfect English, she answered all of our questions..she went above and beyond our expectations. Also she gave us amazing food recommendations! We actually felt rested and filled with knowledge, not tired at all after the tour. Thank you Maks for an amazing half a day!

The tour was excellent, going to sll the necessary sites in that time frame. Lazis was an excellent guide - very knowledgable, professional and helpful and his English was good. My tour was meant to be a group tour but it turned out I was the only one which will suit some people more than others.

Maks was qo knowledgeable about the city, the road silk, and even answer all of our common questions. At the end of the tour she propose to those who want to come to go at the local market wich were really nice !

Our tour happened to fall on the same day as a visit by the presidents of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan to Bukhara, so there were a few unexpected adjustments along the way. While we were still able to enter most of the sites, we occasionally had to pause or reroute to make way for the presidential entourage. That said, Laziz handled everything seamlessly. He adapted on the fly and made sure we never felt like we were missing out on anything. The tour remained smooth, engaging, and well-paced despite the circumstances. He was also incredibly informative—not just covering the main historical points, but going deeper into the meanings behind various Islamic symbols, as well as Zoroastrian ones, which added a really interesting layer of context. Overall, a great experience and a guide who truly knows how to make the most of any situation.

One of the BEST walking tours I’ve taken. Maks was not only engaging and entertaining, but also full of knowledge. You will not be disappointed! Note: a lot of walking and standing is involved, so bring water and a hat/umbrella

Really great morning exploring old Bukhara. Fayz struck a great balance of informative and entertaining / engaging. The 3.5 hours went by quickly and we felt like we took a lot in. Fayz was really knowledgeable of both the ancient and more recent history of the place and was always happy to chat further about anything. Really glad we did this.

Laziz is a knowledgeable, enthusiastic and engaging guide. He is clearly very passionate about Bukhara. The tour was well paced, comprehensive and have us a perfect overview of Bakhara and the key sights. Laziz has great English and we had no problem understanding the all the information. Highly recommend as an intro to Bukhara.

I booked this tour at the very last minute, and I’m so glad I did. The guide was born in the city and knows Bukhara extremely well. The tour was very informative, and the route was perfectly planned. During the tour, we met a senior traveler from Singapore who was so impressed by what Ali had shared earlier that morning, that he decided to join the tour upon seeing him again. Mukhammadali's English is very good, but if you’re not a native speaker, you may need to focus a bit more to keep up with the pace and depth of information.
