We absolutely loved learning about the CBD history, graffiti art and people from our wonderful guide, Lebo! And beginning at Bertrand’s Cafe was amazing—-such a cool place. Thanks so much for offering this wonderful, free tour!
The details for the start and location of the tour sent by email and Whatsapp was incorrect. Location of the tour was for a particularly dangerous and dodgy part of the city. We were followed by some very dodgy looking characters and a police officer who appeared to be 'on the take' decided that we, looking obviously like tourists but in the wrong part of town, wanted to take us in before we talked him in to letting us go. The Uber to get our of this place could not have come faster. It was highly unprofessional of this company to put us in danger and they need to fix their communications.
It was a fascinating tour of places I would never gotten to on my own. Pointed out things i would never have noticed on my own
very knowledgeable and warm individual. He made you feel like he was a dear friend while providing a great tour with tremendous information. Being a person of colored I was very moved by this tour. I must do!
