Haoqi was extremely knowledgeable about the local foods. She pointed a million different things that were new to me. As I am new to China she helped me also understand the Chinese apps and how to use them. She also gave me some interesting tips to do with my evening entertainment and helped me book a ticket for Chinese theatre which I thoroughly enjoyed. I really enjoyed the tour, Haoqi was very accommodating andnadapted the market tour to show me vegan options. The tea ceremony and calligraphy session were the highlight!
The contact with Haoqi was very agreeable, open, relax. Discovering the food market was realy delightful. I would recommend a small group (we were 3 + Haoqi). We talked not only about food, but about many other things in daily life of Chinese.
I had such a lovely time with Haoqi visiting the foodie market. We sampled a few bits while she explained more about Chengdu cuisine and she helped us pick out some bits for breakfast that we enjoyed together. The tea and calligraphy session was fantastic - the lady was super friendly and it was so calming and relaxing. A lovely morning spent with locals!
