Interesting tour for those wishing to see the city beyond the well-known attractions and some history background. Also useful advice about hanging out options in SH
Our guide Celina was good until we had to make payment. Unfortunately we had to leave halfway through the tour. We told our guide Celina and made a fair payment. Celina said this wasn’t enough money for 3 people and created a scene in front of the other attendees, which was extremely embarrassing. Having done over 20 walking tours all over the world, I have never experienced this before. The whole point of a free walking tour is we pay what we believe is fair. Celina is a good guide but the tour was very facts based rather than giving any personal stories or insights, which is not the approach of other guides across the world. She said she comes from a corporate background and seems to only be doing the job for the money rather than a real passion for the city.

Yan was a brilliant guide. She brought to many place I was confident to explore afterwards on my own. I loved the calligraphy lesson and the ladies there were so thoughful! It was a great morning and Yan is enthusiastic and engaging.
