Nathan was a fantastic tour guide, definitely a 10/10 plus. He was such a lovely person, he was welcoming, extremely informative and definitely knew and loved his country. He took us places and showed us things we will never forget. Would we recommend Nathan? YES 110%.

Nathan was very kind and gave me a private tour because I was the only person booked. He is very knowledgeable and provides lots of information about the history of Cape Town and bo-kap. I learned many facts from him and strongly recommend to book this tour. We spent almost 3 hours covering the many buildings and relevant streets, and I had a great experience.

8 of us joined Nathan’s walking tour and he was excellent. Polite, professional, and so knowledgeable. He shared a lot about the history of slavery, Islam, apartheid, and the colorful story behind Bo-Kaap. My friends and I especially loved Bo-Kaap - the colors and architecture were beautiful. Nathan even surprised us with koeksisters to try. A sweet way to end the tour.

Nathan was an outstanding guide and made my first day in Cape Town truly memorable. He was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and engaging, sharing a thorough history of apartheid in South Africa while guiding me through the colorful streets of Bo-Kaap and many of Cape Town’s highlights. His passion for the city’s history and culture brought every stop to life. As a wonderful bonus, the tour ended with some delicious South African treats. It was a fantastic day of exploration and learning, and I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in history, culture, and experiencing Cape Town through the eyes of a born and bred local expert.
