It’s clear that syhorn was super interested in what he did and his country which made his tour so interesting! His knowledge was very good and told us about his personal experiences which gave a big insight on Cambodia and coffee! The passion and love he has for Cambodia really showed and left us feeling the same. Thanks for such a great talk
Started with coffee at "Brother Bong", which has fresh roasted local beans. Then walked over to the palace and pagoda, where locals were praying and playing music. Syhorn kept me updated with cultural and historical details about the Khmer people.
Our guide was great. Spoke excellent English and explained everything about Siem Reap and coffee. He should do more of them and highly recommend it.
A Unique and Memorable GuruWalk with Syhorn I was pleasantly surprised by this tour! Although I was the only guest, it turned out to be such a special day—especially as it coincided with Visak Bochea, one of the most sacred Buddhist holidays in Cambodia. We met at a charming café, where Syhorn treated me to a delicious cup of uniquely blended Cambodian coffee and an assortment of local mangoes. From the very beginning, he made me feel welcome and shared deeply personal and fascinating stories about his family and their experiences during the Khmer Rouge—something I was particularly interested in. Throughout the tour, I learned so much about Cambodia’s history, culture, and daily life in Siem Reap. Visiting the temples on Visak Bochea was a perfect choice. We lit candles, watched monk processions, and joined local devotees in quiet reflection—it was an unforgettable and moving experience. A few tips for future guests: It would be helpful if the tour description included more detail about the specific sites you'll visit (I was prepared for a longer trek through the city). I had initially expected a long 3-hour walk, but much of the time was spent listening to Syhorn’s captivating stories and learning from his deep knowledge of Cambodian history (no complaints). If visiting temples, make sure to dress appropriately (shoulders and knees covered). Overall, I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for a personal, meaningful, and culturally rich experience in Siem Reap.
A wonderful experience, Syhorn was very knowledgeable.
