Very knowledgeable and good guide, really recommend the tour!
Tour muy interesante. Conoce muy bien la historia de la ciudad. Te sientes muy segura con ella caminando por la ciudad y se adapta a tus necesidades. Muy recomendable
This is a really interesting tour. Anjela has an extensive knowledge on the history of Mombasa and she is a delightful person to spend some time with. Highly recommend
If you want to safely taste authentic Swahili and Mombasa food this tour is an absolute must. You will also get to visit some places you are unlikely to find without the local knowledge of a guide. Anjela is a fantastic guide and a lovely, genuine and warm hearted person who has a wealth of knowledge about Mombasa and Kenya food, culture, history and more. I can’t recommend her highly enough.
Anjela was cheerful, well-informed, and sensitive to our needs and issues. She met us on time and right at the spot agreed to. Our first visit was to the spice market where a vendor she knew spent time explaining the various spices grown and sold in Kenya. Another highlight was the fabric market where Anjela helped us buy a dera (long dress) for a friend. We then wound our way through New Town and Old Town. After visiting Fort Jesus, we were hot and tired (we are Americans from the dry Southwest and not accustomed to the humidity) and so begged off going to the Hindu temple, but I'm sure that would have been interesting too. Anjela had lots of information to convey about every place we visited. We also appreciated that she spoke in a clear voice and at a pace we could understand. Anjela gave us an enjoyable and memorable experience of her home city, Mombasa. We could not have asked for more.
